Quick Start User Guide
Download the App
Get the Elon Smart app from the Apple App Store (iPhone) or
Google Play Store (Android).
Open the App
Launch the app on your phone.
Add Your Geyser Info
Scan the Elon Smart QR code inside your DB board.
→ Your geyser will now appear in the app.
View Your Geyser Info
Tap your geyser in the app to see:
Current water Temperature
Solar and grid energy use
Temperature set points
Android iPhone
Scan QR code to install
Elon Smart App on your phone
Get Your Elon® Online
Access the Thermostat Settings
In the app, tap the Settings (⚙) button next to your Elon Smart device.
The app will ask to connect to the thermostat’s built-in Wi-Fi hotspot → Tap
“Connect.“
After connecting, the Thermostat Settings screen will open.
Set Up Wi-Fi for the Thermostat:
Tap “Wi-Fi Hotspot.” The app will search and display nearby Wi-Fi networks.
Select the Wi-Fi network you want the thermostat to use.
Enter the Wi-Fi password.
Tap “Test Connection.”
Check for a Successful Connection:
If the password is correct, the app will return to the Thermostat Settings screen.
Your chosen Wi-Fi network will now be shown with a green Wi-Fi icon → this
means the thermostat is successfully connected to the internet.
Setting Temperatures & Heating Schedules:
Access the Thermostat Settings
In the app, tap the Settings (⚙) button next to your Elon Smart device.
The app will ask to connect to the thermostat’s built-in Wi-Fi hotspot → Tap
“Connect.“
After connecting, the Thermostat Settings screen will open.
Set Your Temperatures:
Enter your preferred temperatures for:
Target Solar Temperature (heats with solar power)
Target Grid Temperature (heats with mains electricity)
Recommended settings:
Solar: 65 °C
Grid: 50 °C
Choose a Heating Profile:
Select how your household uses hot water.
→ A good starting point is “Morning and Evening Shower.”
Save Your Settings:
Tap Save. The app will return to the main settings screen with your updated values.
